Are Live Seminars Always The Best Option?

There is no doubt that live seminars can boost your profits.  You can interact with promoters and customers.  This physical interaction usually leads to high sales of highly priced products.  The buyer has a chance to meet you personally which forms an instant bond of trust.  Trust equals increased and continuing sales.

However, teleseminars are much more convenient.  Teleseminars can be used for marketing and promotion purposes.  Teleseminars are a great way to market a product to a huge audience at one time instead of repeating yourself to individuals or smaller groups over and over.

For example, think of weddings.  A Wedding Planner could give a teleseminar regarding “17 Steps to a Perfect Wedding” The purpose of the teleseminar is to show that there are several details that need to be taken care of.  This may actually overwhelm the listeners so they sign up with the Wedding Planner.  (This was the goal of the Wedding Planner to begin with.)  This is a great way for a Wedding Planner to market their services.

Internet marketing is not only used to sell things online.  You can use Internet marketing to bring in teleseminar attendees.

Teleseminars can be a valuable option because they can be set up quickly.  All you need is a squeeze landing page that allows somebody to register for a teleseminar.  After you set this up squeeze page initially you can just modifying it for each new teleseminar.  Basically, you have a template to use and update for each teleseminar.

What do you sell in teleseminars?  Information products that are high priced.  This gives you a great profit margin.  For example, you could sell monthly membership continuity programs, coaching programs, and financial programs.

Use teleseminars to generate leads to move people to the next step of the marketing funnel.  You can build a list by having people opt-in on the squeeze page for the teleseminar.  You should capture their name and email.  This creates a responsive list because people responded to your promotion in the first place.  You spend nothing to build this list because you (and/or a Joint Venture partner) sent an email promoting the teleseminar.  Essentially, by having a teleseminar, you are paid large sums of money to while building a list at the same time.
