How To Create A Powerful Teleseminar

Teleseminars are a great way to promote your products, make money, and introduce yourself to new audiences.  Teleseminars are one way to create a joint venture without spending any money.

Tip:  You can create a teleseminar series.  You can give a teleseminar once a week. Each teleseminar includes a speaker on a different topic.  You can allow a specific number of people on the teleseminar.  You can obtain the teleseminar attendees by sending an email.

Promoting and running teleseminars helps build your email list in more ways than one.  You build your list by people signing up for the seminars as well as obtaining the lists of your joint venture partners.

Tip:  Record your teleseminars.  You can then sell the recording of your teleseminar.

You can become popular in the speaking circuit by speaking on other people’s teleseminars.  Teleseminar attendees typically are looking for joint ventures.

Teleseminars need to be accomplished in a certain manner in order to be effective.

Teleseminars are an hour long and you can only use your voice to communicate with people.  People also expect that you will sell something to them on the teleseminar.  They don’t mind the sell because they didn’t spend much (or nothing) on the teleseminar.  Therefore, your sales pitch during the teleseminar should be blatant.

Following is an example outline for a teleseminar:

1.)  After you are introduced, talk about the outcomes you have planned for the teleseminar.  For example, “My first outcome is that I want to give outstanding information on x, y, and z.  My second outcome is that to gain the most benefit we should set up a future working relationship.  I have ongoing mentorship through…”

2.)  Explain why you are talking about what you are talking about.  For example, “The reason that we are on this call tonight is that I dedicated myself to mentoring and have created a mentoring program.  People always ask me these questions…”

Tip:  List the questions that are relevant to the audience you are speaking to.  This will make the audience feel more vested in the teleseminar because you are talking about things that are relevant to them.

3.)  Integrate your sales pitch and content throughout the teleseminar.  You should be aggressive with your sales pitch.  Teach a concept briefly and then sell.  Repeat this process over and over throughout the teleseminar.

For example, teach them a tidbit of information on a topic and then explain that the full information is on a CD that you have for sale.  You are encouraging people to buy your products by teasing them with snippets of product information.

A great example would be to teach two things out of ten things on a specific topic.  The teleseminar attendees will need to purchase your CD product in order to learn the remaining eight things.

4.)  End the teleseminar with a sales pitch.  Be aggressive!  Give the teleseminar attendees a special incentive to buy your product immediately.  Send them an email with a link to a special page where they can by your product at a discount.  Make sure the offer has a time constraint and limited availability so the teleseminar attendees must (and will) take action now!  Specifically mention and instruct people how to use this link during and at the end of the teleseminar.

Tip:  If you let the offer go until the next day then you can say good bye to your sales.  Why?  People are much less likely to take action the next day as they will be distracted with other daily activities.  Encourage them to buy while the product and benefits are still fresh in their mind.
